My sadness if it had a color
Would be a shade of grey;
Lifeless and very dull
 I wish it would go away!

The saying is feeling blue
But in this case does not apply;
As in blue there is sunshine
Up, up in the sky.

No this dark and dingy world
Has had it's time, it must leave;
I've grieved enough over you
You, I thought I could believe.

You lied and you cheated
In more ways than one;
Taking bank accounts with you
Leaving us none.

I've been sad at the lost love
That I thought that I'd had;
My memory tells me
It wasn't all bad.

Time to go now though
I've just had enough;
Moving on isn't easy
In fact it's really tough.

I have to leave you now
That is'nt what was planned;
But I can't stay now that I know
Exactly where I stand.

If I am not your number one
Then nothing else will do;
I need to get a long way away
To get as far away from you.

This is very sad
I thought your love was true;
But now I know that all along
You only thought of you.

I looked at myself today
I wished the dark clouds would roll away
I wished the world didn't seem so gray
or rather shades of black and white
I looked at myself today
and all that I could see was pain
teardrops heavy with expectation

My Anguish
I feel a heavy weight of despair,
Crushing my chest; Where is the air?
Fear is rising from the pit of my gut;
It's all too much; feeling so rough.
I choke and sob like the rising tide,
I can't control it nor can I just hide.

There really is always someone worse off than you
Start counting your blessings your gifts from above;
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is appreciate
That you are in fact surrounded by love.

I have a grandma . .who hugs, kisses, smiles and says,
My, how you've grown whenever she sees me.
but not anymore . .

I have a grandma . .who plays in the creek at deer camp and helps me catch cray fish without going eeewww.
but not anymore . .

I have a grandma . who can teach me how to play solitaire three different ways and not snitch if I cheat.
but not anymore . .

I have a grandma . .
who tells the most wonderful stories, snorts when she laughs, and has a joke with four punch lines.
but not anymore . .

I have a grandma . .
who comes to my tea parties, plays dress up and always lets me be the queen.
but not anymore . .

I have a grandma . . who drives a sporty purple car, very fast just to make me and my sister laugh out loud.
but not anymore . .

I have a grandma . .
who has Alzheimer's disease, doesn't know my name or even say,
 My how you've grown when she sees me
but she's not my grandma

I want her to let my grandma come out to play!!!

Sadness Poems

Feelings can't go senile
I just can't remember what;
This feeling is telling me
I'm sorry I've forgot.

Don't stop loving me
Just because you can;
My life was once like yours
When I was a young man.

My feelings can make me frightened
Because I don't understand;
So please show me love and smile
And let me hold your hand.
