Build me a son, O Lord,
Who will be strong enough to know when he is weak,
And brave enough to face himself when he is afraid;
One who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat,
And humble and gentle in victory.

..........   came into this world through love
Part of the human race;
We want her/him to be joined to Jesus Christ
And in our faith to place.

Jesus Christ gave his life for all of us
And we give thanks to him for ours;
We also now give him     ........
To worship,serve and be a follower.

The mark of the cross the priest will place
As a symbol upon the forehead;
For protection and love for all to see
Keeping away all ill and intercede.

Blessings come in many shapes,
In sizes large and small,
But a brand new little baby
is the sweetest of them all.

To name the child and place him/her safe
Put them under the banner of Jesus Christ;
He is our saviour and in the end reveal
His power and Gods glory & rescue us from crisis.

Today, let's remember
God now has a new little member
We ask God to care for your child
And pray (Bobby) will have a smooth ride
And as (he) (she) travels along life's road
(He) (She) is never burdened with a heavy load

A wee bit of heaven
drifted down from above -
A handful of happiness,
a heartful of love.
The mystery of life,
so sacred and sweet -
The giver of joy
so deep and complete.
Precious and priceless,
so lovable, too -
The world's sweetest miracle,
baby, is you.

Your little baby's christening
Is wonderful, it's true,
Your baby is so beautiful,
And we will pray for you.
It's wonderful to know
That you are baptizing your child,
We're glad that we can be there
For we know it's so worthwhile.
Congratulations, our dear friends,
On this lovely event,
Your baby is a precious thing
So truly heaven sent!

Some people bought their children for Jesus to bless
Disciples said to them "Don't bother"
But Jesus called the children over and said
"People who are like these children belong to God's Kingdom"
You will never enter God's Kingdom without you entering it like a child.
